Position Summary

The Senior ERP Systems Programmer & Manager will serve as the strategic lead for the operation, maintenance, and enhancement of the district’s Oracle Cloud HCM environment. This role manages a team of support analysts and engineers, partners with internal and external stakeholders, and ensures ERP functionality supports data integrity, operational reliability, and district-wide objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning & Project Leadership

• Establish long-term ERP roadmaps aligned with district objectives.
• Lead ERP feasibility studies, evaluations, and large-scale project coordination.
• Use project management methodologies to oversee application design, evaluation, and implementation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure ERP deliverables support operational and student achievement goals.

Enterprise Systems Administration & Analysis

• Serve as the primary technical resource for ERP functionality.
• Analyze, test, debug, and implement advanced ERP functionality and integrations.
• Monitor system activity and recommend improvements.
• Evaluate ERP patches and upgrades and provide deployment recommendations.

Team Supervision & Collaboration

• Supervise Oracle support staff, contractors, and Application Services staff.
• Assign daily responsibilities and conduct performance evaluations.
• Mentor junior team members on technical tools and project management practices.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, technology teams, and external partners.

Application Development & Quality Assurance

• Design, develop, and deploy custom reports and data integrations.
• Partner with third-party vendors on integrations and software defect resolution.
• Perform QA reviews of ERP documentation.
• Support the design and maintenance of the district’s Enterprise Architecture Plan.
• Troubleshoot advanced application issues and develop functional solutions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of Oracle applications support experience in a complex information systems environment.
• Progressive experience in application support, application management, software implementation, or IT.
• Formal project management training.
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle, SQL, dBase, and relational database management systems.
• Experience with integrated applications including student information, finance, HR, and payroll systems.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure.

Certifications / Licenses

• Advanced application certifications required.
• Valid Colorado Driver’s License required.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position directly supervises ERP team members, contractors, and Application Services staff. The role may also provide leadership coverage and perform Director-level responsibilities during absences.

Senior System Test Engineer

Space Systems Test & Integration – MDSEA Support

Position Overview

Join the Space Systems Test & Integration team supporting the Missile Defense Space Enterprise Architecture (MDSEA). This role provides technical leadership for verification, validation, integration, and mission readiness activities across complex satellite ground system environments.

The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience with space-ground enterprise systems, mission system integration, IT infrastructure, automated testing, and DevSecOps-aligned development pipelines. This position will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, government stakeholders, and multiple vendors to support Developmental Test (DT) and Operational Test (OT) activities while ensuring mission-critical systems meet operational and cybersecurity requirements.

Key Responsibilities

System Test & Integration

• Develop and execute system-level test strategies, test plans, procedures, and verification artifacts.
• Lead verification, validation, integration, and mission readiness activities across enterprise satellite ground systems.
• Conduct:
  • Functional testing
  • Integration testing
  • Regression testing
  • Performance testing
  • Cybersecurity testing
  • End-to-end mission system testing
• Validate software builds, configuration changes, and modifications to enterprise ground system components.
• Support operational demonstrations, certification milestones, and readiness reviews.

Technical Leadership

• Provide technical guidance to MDSEA System Engineers to ensure:
  • Test standardization
  • Performance target compliance
  • Mission readiness objectives
• Lead defect triage efforts and root cause analysis for complex system issues.
• Coordinate issue resolution across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Provide senior-level technical leadership during integration events and operational milestones.

Program & Stakeholder Coordination

• Coordinate test activities across:
  • Multiple vendors
  • Engineering teams
  • Agile development groups
  • Government stakeholders
• Manage and maintain the Integrated Master Test Schedule (IMTS) for:
  • DT/OT events
  • Integration milestones
  • Readiness reviews
• Prepare and deliver:
  • Test reports
  • Readiness assessments
  • Risk summaries
  • Technical briefings for leadership and government customers

Infrastructure & DevSecOps Support

• Test and validate enterprise IT infrastructure, including:
  • Servers
  • Networks
  • Storage systems
  • Virtualized environments
  • Mission-critical enterprise services
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Integrate automated testing into modern DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) workflows through automated:
  • Builds
  • Deployments
  • Integration processes
• Ensure compliance with:
  • Configuration management standards
  • Cybersecurity requirements
  • Test documentation quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Extensive experience supporting satellite ground systems and enterprise mission environments.
• Strong background in system-level testing and integration activities.
• Experience with:
  • Verification & Validation (V&V)
  • DT/OT test events
  • Enterprise infrastructure testing
  • Automated testing frameworks
• Knowledge of DevSecOps/DevOps CI/CD environments and Infrastructure as Code concepts.
• Experience coordinating across technical teams, vendors, and government stakeholders.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and lead root cause analysis efforts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to brief technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in secure DoD or classified environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Missile Defense, Space Systems, or National Security Space programs.
• Familiarity with Agile development environments.
• Experience supporting operational readiness reviews and certification events.
• Hands-on experience with enterprise virtualization, networking, and storage platforms.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance requirements within DoD environments.
