Job Description

Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking an iOS Software Developer/Engineer to join our Client's team.


Responsibilities

  • Develop iOS-based mobile applications based on sound programming fundamentals per client requirements.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of the iOS platform, deep familiarity with Xcode, and strong programming skills in Swift to be able to collaborate with client on best practices for app development.
  • Support UI design as required to convert customer requirements into wireframes/storyboards and gain alignment on mobile app UI design.
  • Perform thorough testing of iOS-developed code. Diagnose and resolve bugs. Ensure high-quality apps are delivered to client.
  • Support app submission writeup and Apple App Store review/approval process per client requirements.
  • Support development of iOS app data communications to back-end servers/services via RESTful APIs or similar integration construct.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional team members including fellow architects and engineers as well as non-technical members of the team.
  • Support DevOps-based CI/CD software development model, with Agile-based SDLC.
  • Produce proper iOS technical design and functionality documentation per client requirements.

Qualifications

  • 6-8+ years of professional experience developing iOS mobile apps for app store use.
  • 2-3+ years working with native iOS and Android mobile ADK development, building mobile apps directly on each native mobile platform
  • 2+ years working with React Native, building portal mobile code that can be deployed to either iOS or Android.
  • BS/BA degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working within an Agile development environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with managing development requirements, test cases and bug tracking in Atlassian Jira or ADO.
  • Experience with automated testing.
