Workplace Specialist

Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Workplace Specialist to join our Client's team.

Mission

The Real Estate & Workplace team’s Workplace Specialist will lead the MTV office Operations,

with full responsibilities. Our MTV office spans 2 buildings and 80k rsf. You will help

develop strategies and implement tactical solutions to support Databricks' exponential growth across the region. This is an exciting opportunity to grow the Bay Area support team and manage important 3rd party relationships that will be the backbone of our growth. This region has over 500 daily unique users with no signs of slowing down. You will be required to work from the MTV office 5x/week during normal business hours and is a 5 month contract starting on September 23, 2024.

Outcomes

● Deliver the best in class of customer service

● Plan support for internal events/training/hackdays as well as company happy hours

● Oversee front of house activities such as: visitor and security management, food and beverage programs, mailroom and deliveries, and office supply management

● Vendor management using tools in our team’s ecosystem

● Guide all facilities and workplace operations to achieve an exceptional environment which

manifests and deepens company culture in our workplaces

● Ensure a coverage model that supports day to day facilities requests are completed through our team’s ticketing system within our SLAs

● Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (EA’s, team leaders) and partner teams (HR, IT, Finance and property management) as well as external vendor services to ensure highest quality solutions

● Work on special projects as a part of the global REW team

● Help develop, improve and document consistent operational processes such as: Oversee regular office maintenance programs- janitorial, patch & paint and safety equipment etc

● Coverage of reception desk 2x/week or as needed

Requirements

● 2-4 years of office management, executive support, or administration experience with

responsibility for operations and service delivery

● Great communication skills and the ability to draft office communications

● Proven organizational skills, managing multiple work streams and projects

● Customer focused attitude - ensuring consistently high quality resolutions

● Financial and budget experience; including sourcing/procuring goods or services and following procurement best practices
