Technical Writer

Key Responsibilities:

·        Create training material, such as knowledge base articles, videos and tutorials.

·        Test the validity and accuracy of the knowledge base articles through workflows in the Freshworks ITSM system.

·        Create end user communication plans and emails for project launch activities.

·        Create change adoption plan and training materials for our end Users.

·        Assist with writing user acceptance test plans.

Requirements

·        2+ years proven experience as a technical writer in the software industry.

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·        Excellent ability to adapt writing style and tone to target audience to technical and non-technical Users.

·        Write, edit and review technical documentation/knowledge base articles for accuracy and clarity.

·        Create/develop communication plan and emails for project launch communications to user community.

·        Proven self-starter with technical aptitude to quickly learn how to use software systems and then write how to documentation and knowledge base articles. 

·        Able to work quickly and independently.

Preferred qualifications

·        Experience with ITSM ticketing systems like Freshservice and Service Now

·        Experience in video creation tools

·        Experienced in working with collaboration tools, such as Sharepoint, MS Office, Visio,

·        Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
