Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Sr. Mfg CPQ Business Analyst to join our Client's team.
Role Overview
As a Senior Business Analyst, you will understand the target state solution as well as current state by site, analyze and identify gaps, create user stories that can be used to define test scenarios and create process flow diagrams to assist in driving organization change. Your primary responsibilities include business requirements analysis, AS-IS and TO-BE process mapping, and identifying differences between as is and to be that will need to be addressed during change management and training programs. This position reports into the Program Executive, but everyday work will be with the program team which consists of 12+ IT folks and roughly 50 stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for the overall order to cash solution as well as ancillary systems.
- Translate business needs into capabilities and user stories, ensuring clarity for development teams.
- Create AS-IS and TO-BE process maps to identify areas requiring focus for communications, training and change management.
- Develop documentation for new processes and workflows.
- Leverage your industry knowledge to ensure the requirements are aligned with industry recognized practices
- Act as the primary liaison between IT and the business to assist in ensuring alignment across the enterprise and alignment with strategic direction.
- Provide ongoing updates to the PMO on project progress, and assist in ongoing sprint planning.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes
- Understanding of order to cash processes, including CPQ, document workflow and manufacturing applications
- Demonstrated proficiency in requirements analysis, and process mapping tools/methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft tools, including MS project, Word, PPT, Teams
- Familiarity with JIRA
Other
- Exceptional verbal and written communication and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Remote/Travel
- Role is hybrid. Resource can be remotely located but will be required to travel to various client sites to support project work
- 25-35% travel. Must be able to travel in US and to Canada (e.g., NY, Toronto..)
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the manufacturing or elevator industry.
