Our client is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Infor Visual ERP and extensive knowledge in discrete manufacturing for complex products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, ERP systems, and business analysis techniques to drive improvements and efficiencies within our organization.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Business Analyst with expertise in Infor Visual ERP and extensive knowledge in discrete manufacturing for complex products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, ERP systems, and business analysis techniques to drive improvements and efficiencies within our organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful implementation of ERP systems. Your responsibilities include business requirements analysis, AS-IS and TO-BE process mapping, and helping support during change management and training programs to help client business users adopt to the new systems and processes. This position reports into the Program Executive, but everyday work will be with the program team which consists of 12+ IT folks and roughly 50 stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document ERP business requirements for the order-to-cash processes.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing ERP systems and identify areas for improvement.
- Translate business needs into capabilities and user stories, ensuring clarity for ERP development teams.
- Create AS-IS and TO-BE ERP process maps to identify areas requiring focus for communications, training & change mgmt.
- Analyze and document manufacturing workflows, identifying bottlenecks and recommending process improvements.
- Utilize knowledge of Infor Visual ERP to support and enhance ERP system functionalities.
- Leverage your industry knowledge to ensure the requirements are aligned with industry-recognized practices.
- Act as the primary liaison between IT and the business to assist in ensuring alignment across the enterprise.
- Provide ongoing updates to the PMO on project progress, and assist in ongoing sprint planning.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of discrete manufacturing processes
- Understanding of order-to-cash processes, including document workflow and manufacturing applications.
- Implementaiton experience with Infor Visual ERP, for at least part of their professional ERP career.
- Demonstrated proficiency in requirements analysis, and process mapping tools/methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft tools, including MS project, Word, PPT, Teams.
- Familiarity with JIRA.

- Exceptional verbal and written communication and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Remote/Travel
- Metro NYC-based hybrid role, with expectation to be in NYC HQ office (Bronx, NY) 3 days/week.
- 25-30% travel to other client sites throughout US and to Canada (e.g., NY, Toronto, CA, etc.).
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5-7+ years' experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in the manufacturing or elevator industry.
