Sr ServiceNow Application Administrator, Denver Area (or Remote), Contract-to-Perm
The Sr. ServiceNow Application Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and ongoing support of the ServiceNow platform. This includes the implementation and configuration of system plugins and ServiceNow store applications primarily associated with the ITSM, HR Service Delivery, Security Operations, and GRC modules.
Implementation, administration, and ongoing support of ServiceNow modules including IT Service Management, HR Service Delivery, Security Operations, and Governance Risk & Compliance
Implementation, administration, and ongoing support of ServiceNow store applications and integrations such as Windows AD, Workday, SCCM, SolarWinds, Vulnerability Management
Configuration management in the following areas: Workflows, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Scripts, ServicePortal, and API WebHooks
Assist in performing ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping processes including configuration and troubleshooting errors as they arise.
Participate in or lead annual ServiceNow upgrades & monthly patching
Provide advanced support for ServiceNow by troubleshooting system issues, determining root cause, and implementing bug fixes as necessary
Work with internal Customers and Business System Analysts to gather business requirements, determine scope and feasibility, and drive deployment of enhancements to existing or new modules on the platform
Create and maintain system documentation, standard operating procedures and user guides.
Exert technical leadership within team and provides technical leadership on complex projects and baseline support
Act as a technical liaison with software vendors
Participate in strategy and roadmap sessions for the ServiceNow platform
Responsible for thoughtful adherence to all Policies, Procedures, and Compliance regulations (internal and external)
Responsible for timely execution of all personnel-related activities such as Time Sheet completion, Performance Evaluations, Salary Reviews, Succession Planning, etc.
Responsible for leadership oversight and for ensuring Department/Team training
BA/BS in Computer Information Systems or related discipline and/or equivalent work experience
7+ years Enterprise Application Support (minimum of 3 years of experience with ServiceNow)
Experience with Web Services Integration (SOAP, REST, and JSON)
Preferably ITIL, ServiceNow System Administrator, and ServiceNow Implementation Specialist certified
Experience in a complex enterprise application environment with integrations and customizations to support multiple business processes
Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast-paced and changing environment
