Job Description

Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Senior SAP Business Analyst – PTM / PP/DS to join our Client's team.

As a Senior SAP Business Analyst, you will coordinate the planning, implementation, and execution of the Corporate ERP system (SAP). You will be responsible for defining business requirements, configuring, testing SAP based on the requirements, training users, and supporting the system



Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the subject matter expert for SAP PTM and PP/DS, including production planning, detailed scheduling, capacity planning, master data, and manufacturing integration.
  • Support and enhance end-to-end planning and execution processes, including demand fulfillment, supply planning, production scheduling, and manufacturing execution integration.
  • Translate business requirements into functional SAP PP/DS and PTM solutions, including configuration, testing, and deployment.
  • Support data migration and master data governance.
  • Use acquired skills and experience related to business and IT management to support end users and facilitate the monitoring and execution of testing activities.
  • Create testing requirements, monitor the timely execution and successful completion of unit, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Assist in the creation and documentation of procedures related to planning and production functionality.
  • May be responsible for assisting in the development and implementation of corporate policies, standards, and methodologies.
  • May be responsible for trainings users to effectively use the business system.
  • Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables related to SAP PTM and PP/DS initiatives.
  • Serve as an active member of SAP implementation and project teams, supporting successful project metrics and operational outcomes.
  • Act as a liaison between Information Systems, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other business functions.
  • Act to ensure integrity of corporate data, proprietary information, and related intellectual property, through information security and access management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement and re-engineering efforts.

Job Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • APICS CPIM/CIRM preferred
  • 5-7 years of Business Analyst experience
  • 4-7 years SAP experience, with exposure to planning or manufacturing processes preferred

Functional / Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • SAP PP/DS implementation or support experience. SAP PTM manufacturing planning process experience.
  • Manufacturing execution systems, preferably Apriso.
  • Experience with production planning, detailed scheduling, capacity planning, and manufacturing master data.
  • Integration experience between planning, manufacturing, and execution systems.
  • Experience with IBP and PPDS integration.
  • Understanding of general manufacturing business processes.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing and supply chain planning processes.
  • Ability to bridge business needs and technical SAP solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds.
