QA Lead
Job Description
Our client seeks a Quality Assurance (Test) Lead to manage end-to-end testing activities for our Enterprise Applications department managing different IT ERP/CRM systems, ensuring high-quality deliverables, compliance with company standards, and ensuring execution of test cycles that includes Quote to Cash (Q2C), Procure to Pay (P2P), Financials and other Integration process flows.
The ideal candidate would have engineered-to-order domain expertise, experience in test planning and execution, defect management, and stakeholder coordination. Additionally, exposure to test automation, including Tosca, is preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for different ERP/CRM applications.
- Ensure comprehensive functionality, integration, regression, performance, SIT and UAT testing.
- Validate APIs, services, and map layers through manual and automated test cases.
- Perform cross-functional and cross-platform testing to ensure consistent applications performance of new and existing process flows.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and teams to align testing activities with project requirements.
- Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, or similar tools.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and defect triaging, ensuring timely resolution.
- Ensure compliance with QA best practices, testing standards, and Manufacturing/IT industry regulations.
- Provide test progress reports and key metrics to IT and business stakeholders.
Automation Tools:
- Contribute to test automation initiatives where applicable, particularly in API testing, ERP/CRP Process Flows, Integrations and workflow validation.
- Exposure to any testing automation tools, like Selenium, for improving test efficiency.
- Support automation efforts for repetitive validation tasks, though manual testing remains the primary focus.
Team Management Skills:
- Lead and mentor a quality testing team
- Ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing with IT cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Coordinate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and offshore units to execute test cycles sticking to the project plan and milestones.
- Engage in requirement analysis, business requirements and Functional/Technical design discussions, and test signoffs to ensure business expectations are achieved.
Qualifications : BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE
Experience:
- 10+ years of relevant QA technical experience required
- 5+ years of experience with Automation testing frameworks (Cypress, Selenium etc.) required
Other Preferred Requirements:
- Proficient with version control systems
- Familiarity with Agile testing processes
- Strong understanding of CRM (Salesforce) and ERP Application concepts (frontend versus backend, APIs, frameworks, etc.)
- Working knowledge of developing test scripts and ability to test the scripts in modern automation testing frameworks
- Experience with API automation is a plus
- Knowledge of Test-Driven Development or Behavior Driven Development
