Blackstone Technology Group, an award winning technology consulting and staffing firm, is seeking a Procurement Analyst - IT to join our team and work at our client site in Denver, CO.

Our client is a leading provider of kidney care in the United States, delivering dialysis services to patients with chronic kidney failure and end stage renal disease. The company owns and operates kidney dialysis centers and home peritoneal dialysis programs domestically in 43 states. They are headquartered in Denver, Colorado.

Duties
This position is responsible for understanding the technical nuances that are unique to IT hardware, software, and peripherals related to product procurement. The position maintains the IT Procurement Catalog and interface with the vendors for billing, validate contract pricing, and negotiates refunds. The position is also the primary point for purchasing; reviewing contracted vendors for best pricing within the financial constraints of the corporation for the IT Procurement Catalog products. The IT Procurement Catalog provides the interface for purchasing to the company' s offices.

Skills
  • Develop and maintain positive vendor relationships to enhance and enable the company to acquire best pricing and service for IT products
  • Contact vendors, negotiate and secure competitive bids in timely manner, identify and select vendors in collaboration with IT business owners
  • Place purchase orders for products approved according to company policy with vendor selected: work with manager to develop agreements; ensure contracts are reviewed by Legal and signed by CIO as necessary
  • Ensure financial approval is received for purchases per the company' s financial approval standard
  • Process high volume of orders received within the IT Procurement Catalog process
  • Maintain the IT Procurement Catalog; products, workflows, approvals, and reporting
  • Review manual process and look for opportunities to automate and or improve
  • Work closely with IT teams to maintain current knowledge of the company' s technology standards, goals, and future technology direction


Track and provide reporting for but not limited to:
  • Vendor pricing
  • Product intake process
  • Month over Month Order tracking by volume and product
  • New product and EOL product tracking
  • Monthly vendor spend


Demonstrate commitment to customer service:
  • proactively communicate and respond promptly to teammate needs Demonstrate proficiency in consultative skills when addressing inquires from clients, vendors and customers


Other duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:
  • Attend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as needed
  • Know, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company procedures

Education
Bachelor’ s degree in Business or Information Technology required or a combination of education and progressively responsible work experience is related area may be substituted in lieu of degree
