| Job profile summary: Analyzes complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. Identifies gaps and provides technical expertise in business requirements for system functional specifications and scales new and current systems, processes and procedures in a cost-effective manner. Configures system settings and options; plans and executes unit, integration and acceptance testing to meet business requirements. Designs details of automated systems. May provide consultation to users in automated systems. May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues. Full Job Description: • Review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs. Document requirements, define scope and objectives and formulate systems to parallel overall business strategies. • Define strategy and design processes for identifying and evaluating options for business technology improvement; preparing functional specifications and configuring the system; resolving solution issues; serving as a bridge between the business and the project team. • Applies expertise across multiple departments and systems. • Takes responsibility for large-scale technology projects, coordinating efforts across multiple organizations. • Contributes to strategic planning of information systems and technology directions. Prepares and delivers proposals to senior management. • Provides business process leadership and may also provide project leadership. Uses knowledge of mission and core strategy as a basis to develop objectives and goals. • Takes ownership for high quality stakeholder communications, including delivering informative, well-organized presentations and project status reviews. 3 to 5 must have skills and experience: • Holds broad expertise or unique knowledge to contribute to development of company objectives or to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. • Works on significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of intangibles. • Exercises independent judgement in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. • Provides advice and consultation within their professional discipline within and outside of functional area. • Handles broad-based, often complex, communication for internal and/or external audiences. Education/Experience • BA/BS or equivalent educational background is preferred. • Minimum 12+ years of relevant professional experience in implementing Workday HCM. • Workday modules required : Core HCM, Core Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, Reporting |
