Blackstone Technology Group, an award winning technology consulting and staffing firm is seeking a Network Quality Engineer to join our team and work at our client site in Colorado Springs, CO or Montgomery, AL.

Our client is a certified DoD Contractor providing services and products to US/Allied governments

Job Description: We are looking for a Network Quality Engineer to support the Air Force Systems Networking (AFSN).  The AFSN supplies network project implementation services to the C3I Infrastructure Division project implementations, as well as, for the Defense Information Systems Agency Joint Regional Security Stack project

Position Responsibilities:
  • Prepares testing and quality documentation to substantiate the integration of all aspects of a network
  • Provides input to the Project Leader and the Program Manager on which an analysis of technologies is made
  • Applies science and/or engineering techniques to develop economical solutions to technical problems
  • Specifies functional requirements include probability, reliability, maintainability, statistical analysis methods, sampling and test and evaluation techniques, data collection and familiarity with applicable regulations and standards
  • Conduct development and operational testing at both network component and system levels
  • Prepare, review and analyze data and prepare failure reports, provide verification of corrective actions; verify requirements and their translation and trace to technical requirements and test specifications; and prepare and review detailed test plans/procedures/reports

 

Basic Qualifications:
  • Specific experience must have been in the areas of development and operational testing at both network component and system level; preparation, review and analysis of failure reports, verification of corrective actions; requirement validation and their translation and trace to technical requirements and test specifications; and preparation and review of detailed test plans/procedures/reports
  • Experience reviewing the implementation documentation for highly complex network solutions against DISA STIGs, BITI TRD, and industry best practices, and Audit Analysis Reports documenting discrepancies

 
  • Experience supporting multivendor upgrades into the AF Network environment including routers/switches (i. e., Cisco, Juniper, HP, Foundry, etc.)
