Design & Analysis Engineer 2 - Mechanical Systems

Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a 6G5BI2-Mech Sys Design & Anlys Engr 2 - 63A-Mechanical System Analysis to join our Client's team.

Supports the development and documentation of mechanical and fluid system and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design. Supports the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups. Performs and documents analyses to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Contributes to supplier development, test and production activities and directs the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals. Supports system components' designs/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation. Trains others. Works under general direction.

REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, with degrees in Aeronautical, Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
• 3+ years experience in Electrical, Aerospace, Industrial, and/or Mechanical Engineering. (Knowledge of aerospace, hydraulics, and mechanical fundamental engineering principles).
• 3+ years experience in one or more of the follow aircraft mechanical systems: fuel, fire detection and extinguishment, hydraulics, environmental controls, mechanical flight controls, landing gear.
• 1+ years experience with aircraft mechanical systems design, production, fleet support, or sustaining engineering.
