Information & Knowledge Services is currently looking for an Instructional Systems Designer to join our team in Englewood, CO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Digital Solutions & Analytics portfolio of products and services by analyzing, and designing, and developing effective and engaging training programs for internal users to use our suite of software and data production tools.


A successful candidate is someone who has a thirst for learning and a passion for creating the best learning experiences for our end-user. You enjoy working with a diverse global team and collaborating with customers, stakeholders and engagement partners to ensure specific learner training needs are met. You are adaptable and can manage multiple programs and/or projects in a fast-paced Agile software development environment where you display your passion for solving problems while being resourceful. Quality is engrained in everything you develop and deliver. You have a proven track record of strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, which drives cross-functional teams toward shared goals. You have a deep understanding of design thinking, instructional methodologies, and have empathy for your learners.


You should be curious, wanting to learn more about our learners, new technologies, better ways of connecting, and continually learning and growing your own skills and abilities— to stay ahead of the curve, and innovate new ways of creating exceptional learning experiences for our leaners and yourself.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a Learner Experience/Instructional Designer on a project as assigned with minimal or no guidance
  • Work with the internal team to collaboratively evaluate and update the existing Train the Trainer content.
  • Design and develop cutting edge learning experiences that meet learner needs and are scalable to accommodate different geographies, environments, and audiences
  • Focus on both content (ID approach) and user experience (UX approach)
  • Step outside of the traditional learning design box and take risks in order to further engage learners

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 7+ years of Learner Experience Design/Instructional Design, including analysis, design, and evaluation of soft skill learning for a global audience.
  • 7+ years developing and implementing blended learning solutions such as ILT, VLT, video, eLearning, documentation (i.e. Articulate, Captivate), etc.
  • 7+ years developing training programs/projects to create innovative training solutions

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor's degree or higher or equivalent experience


Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) or typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
