Information Systems Analyst – Operations
Job Description
Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency, is seeking an Information Systems Analyst – Operations to join our Client's team.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Systems Analyst – Operations to support and enhance our operational systems, with a focus on the Infor CloudSuite v10 SAAS. This role will act as a liaison between business operations and IT, ensuring the effective use of Infor systems to optimize processes, increase efficiency, and support business growth. Currently, this is a contract position, with an opportunity as a direct hire to the right fit
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Infor CloudSuite in operations (e.g., manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, procurement).
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, identify system improvements, and translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Configure, test, and implement enhancements, modules, and integrations within the Infor environment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Infor system functionality, data integrity, and performance.
- Support ongoing system maintenance, upgrades, and patch deployments.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and user training.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Finance, IT, Production, and Supply Chain, to ensure system alignment with business goals.
- Generate and maintain operational reports and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Assist in managing relationships with Infor support and third-party vendors.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience working with Infor ERP systems CloudSuite Industrial in an analyst or functional role.
- Solid understanding of operational workflows (manufacturing, warehousing, procurement, logistics, etc.).
- Experience with system configuration, business process mapping, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Familiarity with integration between Infor and third-party applications.
- Project management or ERP implementation experience.
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Spanish communication skills are a plus.
- Familiarity with lean or Six Sigma operational practices.
- Experience with Infor ION, Birst, or other Infor-integrated tools is a plus.
- Proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools is a plus.
