Infor Visual ERP Data Analyst - Discrete Mfg

Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency, is seeking an Infor Visual ERP Data Analyst - Discrete Mfg to join our Client's team.

Our client is seeking an experienced Infor Visual ERP Data Analyst to coordinate and manage data within our ERP system. The ERP Data Analyst is a core member of the ERP support team and is responsible for coordinating data across the Vantage Organization involving 8 different business units across North America.  

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Cleaning

• Gather Data from various sources, spreadsheets, and databases (Data sets typically include Vendors, Customers, Parts, Pricing, Engineering Masters and Transactional records)
• Identify and correct data inconsistencies, duplicates, and errors to ensure data accuracy
• Transform Data to align with business process rules
• Prepare Data in accordance with database rules for successful data migration 
• Coordinate prepared data loads with data migration personnel and then validate data loads for accuracy

Manage and coordinate data with business process owners

• Lead collaboration efforts with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into clear action plans
• Determine data requirements for implementation of new business sites, new products, and new integrations
• Assist in driving stakeholder apprehension of the required data fields, how they are utilized within the ERP system

Documentation

• Document data decisions and updates
• Create, maintain, and execute data collection plans for projects

Data Governance

• Establish data standards and policies along with key stakeholders that maintain data quality, compliance, and security

Report Creation

• Generate comprehensive reports for business associates

Technical Skills  

• 3-5+ years of ERP implementation experience.
• 2+ years’ experience generating queries using Microsoft SQL server management studio
• 1-2+ years working on a Master Data Management (MDM) project
• 1+ years experience working with Infor Visual ERP System (required)
• 1+ years experience working with Microsoft reporting tools such as SSRS or Power BI (preferred)

Remote/Travel  

• Remote role, with 25% travel to both client HQ (Bronx, NY) and other client sites throughout US and to Canada (e.g., NY, Toronto, CA, etc.).

Education  

• Certificate or Degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
