Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
§ Act as a trusted advisor and resource to cast, crew, and production leadership
§ Support and communicate the culture, mission, and vision of the company to align employees
§ Analyze current HR practices, identify improvement opportunities, influence management, build consensus, and implement change
§ Make recommendations and influence decisions regarding HR issues
§ Manage a New Hire Orientation/onboarding program for hires and interns to ensure that the process is welcoming
§ Manage the strategic, tactical, and day-to-day administrative tasks
§ Leverage analytics reporting to review trending data to help with employment, staffing, and career development decisions.
§ Run and distribute various monthly reports and Ad Hoc reports to production leadership as needed.
Skills/Qualifications
§ Five (5) years or more experience in Human Resources.
§ Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc).
§ Excellent organizational as well as verbal and written communication skills.
§ Strong leadership, relationship building, problem-solving, and influence skills.
§ A “hands-on” Manager with a sincere interest in people, processes, and contributing to a true service organization.
§ Exceptionally strong organizational development and employee relations skills
§ Demonstrated ability to balance employee advocacy with business objectives.
§ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
§ Demonstrated understanding of state, federal, and local employment laws.
§ Knowledge of Benefits and Leave Administration.
