Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Fullstack Java Developer/Engineer to join our Client's team.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and implement Java/JavaScript-based web applications using front-end and back-end technologies to support client requirements.
  • Strong knowledge and experience developing in Java Technologies - like J2EE, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, Spring, JPA/Hibernate, Web Services (REST, Soap), XSLT, XML to be able to collaborate with client on best practices for web app development.
  • Support UI design as required to convert customer requirements into wireframes/storyboards and gain alignment on web app UI design.
  • Support front end UI development in JavaScript/Typescript frameworks.
  • Perform thorough testing of developed code. Diagnose and resolve bugs. Ensure high-quality code is delivered to client.
  • Support development of web application communications to back-end servers/services via RESTful APIs or similar integration construct.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional team members including fellow architects and engineers as well as non-technical members of the team.
  • Support DevOps-based CI/CD software development model, with Agile-based SDLC.
  • Produce proper web application technical design and functionality documentation per client requirements.

Qualifications

  • 6-8+ years of professional experience developing Java-based web applications.
  • BS/BA degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working with in an Agile development environment.
  • Demonstrated experience with managing development requirements, test cases and bug tracking in Atlassian Jira or ADO.
  • Experience with Cloud-based development tools such as Kubernetes, Git, Java, JavaScript, Node.Js, and SQL.
  • Experience with automated testing.

  • Citizenship: USC
  • Clearance: Secret

Security Clearance Required: Secret
