Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to develop and maintain a consolidated Demand Plan, and Resource Capacity Plan for assigned products such that:
  • There is alignment among the Business Strategy, IBP Plan and Production
  • Plan ensuring they help us meet financial, inventory, and shipment goals;
  • The Demand Plan feeds ERP planning tools and materials requirements; and
  • Resource / capacity constraints that impact the ability to make plan are identified with sufficient time to develop effective and efficient strategies
  • for closing gaps
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Sales, PLM and Rig Up Yards to consolidate demand for assigned product(s) as part
  • of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process
  • Understand market conditions & manage response to changes via demand sensing, shaping
  • Enter Build Plan(s) into ERP system to support use of ERP planning tools. Develop and manage Planning BOMs, Bill of Resources
  • Work cross functionally to determine manufacturing capabilities, and inventory levels
  • Identify constraints, gaps between supply and demand proactively to facilitate mitigations
  • Propose recommendations to resolve gaps including financial / impact analysis
  • Collaborate with Engineering to facilitate delayed differentiation to meet market lead times at optimal inventory levels
  • Collaborate with Supplier Development Engineers to reduce critical path item lead times
  • Leveraging delayed differentiation, encourage implementation CTO manufacturing strategies in facilities
  • Perform other work related tasks as assigned
  • Comply with all Company, departmental and HSE procedures and policies
Skills
  • 3+ years of planning, scheduling and/or forecasting experience
  • Experience with demand planning and/or Resource Capacity Planning
  • Oracle EBS (Inventory, WIP, BOM) & ASCP experience required
  • Experience working in an ETO or MTO business environment
  • Experience with QRM, Lean, and / or other continuous improvement methodologies
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills including ability to create effective visual, oral and written presentations
Education: 
Bachelor' s Degree
