Blackstone Talent Group, an award-winning technology consulting and talent agency is seeking a Data Processing Specialist to join our team at our client’s site in Colorado Springs, CO.
Job Description:
- Work through a queue of both historical and current tasks to ensure accurate documentation
- Review completed purchase orders and finish records for tracking purposes
- Analyze and gather information by reviewing and interpreting purchase order details. Information may include line-item descriptions, serial numbers, licensing details, support and warranty expiration dates, and other pertinent information to the purchase
- Organize and populate information across multiple databases and files
- Investigate vague or missing context by utilizing the internet and/or internal records
- Complete records by engaging with various points of contact; these can include both internal and external entities such as buyers, vendors and manufacturers
- Finish and close tasks within the managed queues as records are completed
- Temporary short-term position for data processing. Expected to last a minimum of six months with the possibility to extend additional months
The Successful Candidate Will
- Strong attention to detail, time management and problem-solving skills
- Present effective and professional oral and written communication skills
Basic Requirements
- Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 4 years of general experience; Associates Degree and 2 years of general experience; Bachelors Degree and 0 years of general experience
- Must have 2 years of directly related experience
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office
- Must have, or obtain a DoD Secret Clearance
Desired Requirements:
- Have experience working with vendors and resellers
- Have an understanding of warranty and support contracts
