Max Bill Rate $30/hrJOB SUMMARY:Under close supervision, manually applies routine customer payments to invoices that are unable to be automatically processed through the lockbox system. Provides the rudimentary research needed to correctly apply payments through checks, wires and ACH payments. Brings more complicated research or requests to second tier. Responsible for de-allocations/reallocations, write offs, adjustments, creates batches for wires, monitors balances and assigns ACH applications, rotates the duty of assigning batches to the other cash applicators, processing credit cards, researches and clears unapplied and unidentified cash. This position is responsible for supporting several of Arrow s business groups and will need to process the appropriate cash application for each group.Responsibilities:1. Performs routine data entry of customer payments into Oracle.2. Provides low-level research on customer payment issues such as duplicate payments and customer debits, etc. Enters those issues into claims to be resolved by customer research group. Escalates more complex issues to second tier. 3. Work closely with Financial Service Representative to ensure accurate and timely recording of all cash receipts.4. Miscellaneous low-level, administrative support copies checks, provides daily cash reports, creation of receipts in Oracle, etc.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); with less than two years related experience in processing credits and debits; or equivalent combination of education, experience, and or training.Ability to follow process and take instructions both internally and externally from customers; Strong data entry capabilities; Proficiency in MS Outlook and internet; good customer service and time management skills.CONTACTS (INTERNAL & EXTERNAL):Responds to inquiries from customers or external collection resources. May place calls or send messages to those with unresolved issues.COMMUNICATION SKILLS:Requires intermediate communication skills. Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Requires intermediate mathematical skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
