Blackstone Technology Group, an award winning technology consulting and staffing firm, is seeking an Accounting Clerk  to join our team and work at our client site in Houston, TX.

Job Summary:
  • Identify and select primary and secondary suppliers.
  • Complete requests for quotes and negotiate procurement contracts.
  • Issue purchase orders and expedite orders.
  • Coordinate contract agreements between suppliers and NOV.
  • Verify the purchase orders and keep PO status up to date.
  • Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures
Required Skills:
  • 2+ Years of working experience as a Buyer.
  • Ability to read basic engineering drawings / bill of materials / material specifications.
  • Understanding of standard quality requirements and how they relate to the purchase order.
  • Familiar with Oracle or similar ERP System.
  • Highly organized.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Able to work in a team as well as independently.
  • Self Motivated and teachable.
