Business Systems Analyst III
Job Description
We are looking for a Strategy & Execution Specialist (Contract) to lead day-to-day execution of key workstreams on one or multiple strategic cross-functional programs . The programs are intended to identify, test, and execute on levers which can drive key business priorities, such as Migrations, Partner Operating Model, GTM optimization, Agentic transformation, etc.
You will run cross-functional working groups, prepare executive-ready materials, drive decisions with VP and SVP-level leaders, and coordinate across teams such as Sales, Field Engineering, Professional Services, Partners, Marketing, and Product/Engineering R&D.
You will apply design-thinking methodology to key business processes and GTM motions, identify and eliminate bottlenecks, and contribute to the design and build of agentic AI workflows to automate those processes as well as program operations. You will own the operating rhythm of your workstreams and be expected to challenge assumptions, re-engineer processes, and ship improvements. You will report to a Strategy & Execution Director in the Business Architecture & Transformation team, who will provide oversight and guidance throughout the program(s). Position may be extended, if candidate demonstrates successful program impact.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of management consulting rigor, hands-on analytics capability, and genuine comfort building with AI-native tools.
What You Will Do
AI-Enabled Program Operations (25%)
- Facilitate working group sessions with cross-functional stakeholders: set agendas, drive decisions, track actions, close loops
- Collaborate w/ the program SMEs to prepare and present monthly Business Owner Review decks and quarterly GTM Leader Review materials
- Maintain program trackers and status reporting across workstreams
- Collaborate w/ sales stratops to track and report on key metrics (e.g., for migrations: win rate, pre-sales velocity, delivery velocity, tooling conversion rate, customer success stories)
- Manage cross-functional dependencies and escalate blockers to executive sponsors
- Build and iterate on agentic AI workflows to automate recurring program tasks: status aggregation, data pulls, stakeholder communications, competitive benchmarking
Program Execution (50%)
- Own and ensure successful delivery of key initiatives and deliverables for specific workstreams, including design and implementation of new GTM system capabilities
- Define scaled execution plans to operationalize successful initiatives across the company and drive effective change management
- Ensure program and workstream outcomes are achieved, with measurable, quantifiable impact on revenue
- Collaborate with IT product teams and sales stratops on design of Sales AI solutions to accelerate and de-risk GTM motions
Discovery & Experimentation (25%)
- Apply design-thinking frameworks to re-examine key processes and GTM motions end-to-end
- Conduct stakeholder interviews to surface systemic friction in internal and partner workflows
- Prioritize process improvements by impact on revenue and business outcomes
- Design, pilot, and document improved workflows, playbooks, and decision frameworks
- Prototype AI-assisted tools for key GTM activities (e.g., migration readiness scoring, automated proposal generation, or account-level analytics)
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years in program management, management consulting, or strategy & operations at a technology company
- Track record managing large-scale cross-functional programs with executive stakeholders at the VP and SVP level
- Formal design-thinking or process re-engineering experience (IDEO, Stanford d.school, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent applied methodology)
- Demonstrated ability to build agentic AI workflows — not theoretical; show us what you have shipped
- Strong analytical orientation with hands-on SQL and dashboard skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication; able to produce executive-ready decks, memos, and status updates with minimal direction
- Experience in data & AI platforms and/or enterprise software GTM
- Familiarity with partner ecosystem management and professional services governance
- Background in sales enablement, GTM operations, or field engineering programs
- Experience at Databricks or with Databricks products
- US-based with the ability to work Pacific business hours
